My Fight

From behind they struck a blow
The bevy of hits continued to flow
From the ground I began my fight
I blocked their kicks with all my might

Rising up, I hit the air
Hoping someone would be there
My clenched fist hit the mark
I couldn’t see it was so dark

Arms stretched out I caught a foe
I rung his neck not letting go
Another, he caught my boot
He would now, always be a mute

My elbow struck a heavy jaw
As the crowd around began to roar
His nose I broke with my head
As his face turned all bloody red

I thrust my hand in some ones mouth
And from it all meat came out
Two eyes I tore from his face
And I was beginning to hit my pace

I lined up three against the wall
And through their hearts I cut them all
The others, were on the ground
And as I shot, there came no sound

As I put my gun away
I saw the early light of day
As I strode off down the street
All the folks to me did greet
